About Ashley

With a passion for all things design and a special love for interiors, I have always thought of myself as a storyteller. While studying for my Bachelor of Science in Cinema Studies and Production at Drexel University, I quickly gravitated towards Production Design, developing an affinity for conveying story and character aesthetically.

After working in art departments on several television shows, I spent the last decade marketing interior design and real estate staging services as well as luxury home furnishings. Through my experience I honed ability to tell stories aesthetically.

As my client I want to tell your story. Your home should be a reflection of your unique history and personality while also functioning to meet the specific needs of your everyday life. I started Design Balabous because interior design can be such an empowering experience and it needs to be easier to access.

Here, the barrier to entry is proportional to the ask but no project is too big or too small. My curating of design services will guide anyone, anywhere on how to invest wisely in their home at a pace that works for them. Helping clients identify their needs and develop their own style is what I do. I take tremendous pride in providing real solutions.
